AACPM Welcomes New Idaho and Virginia Societies

By Ronald L. Buchholz, CPM
rbuchholz@commerce.state.wi.us

On behalf of the AACPM Board of Directors, I take great pride in announcing that the Board at the Mid Year Meeting recently held in Louisville, Kentucky, has approved two new CPM Societies for membership in the AACPM.

The Idaho and Virginia CPM Societies join the Academy as the 20th and 21st member societies, respectively. The effective date of their Academy membership is November 9, 2004.

Both societies are very active and have established a growing membership. Each did an outstanding job in the formation of their societies and in preparing the required materials and information to secure Academy membership.

Please join me in welcoming the Idaho and Virginia Societies to the Academy. I look forward to working with them during the upcoming year and in their participation in the 17th Annual AACPM Professional Development Conference in Manchester, New Hampshire, next September. The Academy Web Page has already been updated to reflect their membership.

The Board is also processing at this time a request for Academy Membership from the Washington (State) CPM Society. I look forward to having the Washington Society become the 22nd Member Society of the Academy in the very near future!

Again, please join me in welcoming the Idaho and Virginia CPM Societies to the Academy.
