Treasurer’s Report - June 2009

I, again, wish to thank all the societies for reporting their second quarter dues and rosters so promptly. We now have 1,152 members and expect that number to increase as we get closer to the conference and the House of Delegates (HOD) meeting. The membership report is included in the Treasurer’s report to the HOD.

The 2008 financial reports have been reviewed by the accounting firm of Holcomb and Shreeve, CPAs, in Gilbert, Arizona. There was no material modification required to the financial statements and a complete copy of the report will be submitted to the HOD.

The HOD approved budget is $39,165. We have received assessments, dues, and other income totaling $27,279. Expenditures are $17,086 which include the reimbursable deposit of $2,000 for the Florida conference.

I would like to remind everyone to place your Amazon orders through their link on the Academy’s website (www.cpmacademy.org). In this economy, every dollar we can raise will help the Academy.

The Ways and Means Committee members are excited to present some new items for you at the conference. Please be sure to come by our table and check them out!
