North Carolina Society of Certified Public Managers®

The North Carolina Society of Certified Public Managers® installed new officers and board members at its annual meeting November 9, 2005. The position of secretary and one board seat were filled by appointment at the first regular meeting of the Board of Directors January 13th. Following is the 2006 NCSCPM Board of Directors:

  • Beverly Hall – President
  • Peter Burke – President Elect
  • Tami Hinton – Past President
  • Tina Picket – Treasurer
  • Dan Thomas – Secretary
  • Karen Corely – Board Member
  • Kim Lash Gillespie – Board Member
  • Kathy Harrelson – Board Member
  • David Osbourne – Board Member
  • Rodger Rochelle – Board Member
  • Amy Sawyer - Board Member
The Board met in February to review the Society’s strategic plan and to continue discussions regarding avenues for increasing efforts to serve members across the state, particularly those in the western part of the state. The program committee, led by Pete Burke, is planning a dynamic spring professional development workshop, which is scheduled for May 11th at the Rolling View facilities at Falls Lake. Finally, the NCSCPM is looking forward to the AACPM conference in Louisville, KY. As in year’s past, the Society has been well represented and we expect the 2006 attendance to be equally impressive.
