Treasurer’s Report – June 2008

At the time of this writing, the Academy’s membership has reached 80% of its targeted goal for 2008. Sixteen of the 20 active member societies have reported 1,292 members, and 16 societies have paid their annual assessment fees. With the annual AACPM conference in Columbus, Ohio just weeks away, it’s imperative that all societies submit their updated member rosters so the Academy can post all its members to the national register.
The accounting firm of Holcomb & Shreeve, CPA’s, in Gilbert, Arizona is currently reviewing the Academy’s FY 2007 financial records. The annual Independent Auditor’s Review is scheduled to be completed in the near future.
The Academy’s FY 2008 HOD approved budget is set at $32,575.00. The YTD revenues vs. expenditures are $22,212.57 and $13,384.34, respectively. Most of the Academy’s annual expenses will be incurred at the annual conference in September.
Again, I would like to remind all members, their families and friends, to use the Academy’s link to Amazon.com for their internet purchases. This is a great opportunity to help raise funds as the Academy receives a 5% referral fee every time a purchase is made through the link button.
