AACPM benefits from your use of Amazon.com through this link:

In Association with Amazon.com

Does this look familiar to you?  If it doesn’t, then you have not viewed www.cpmacademy.org. For those of you who use Amazon.com to purchase your books, videos, music, and any of the other items they offer, why not help the American Academy of Certified Public Managers® when you shop? The Academy earns a 5% bonus through Amazon’s Associates Program. To finance Academy services, we depend to a large extend on dues. Your use of this link can provide additional revenue to help support our goals and mission.

There’s also a new link on the webpage!

We are pleased to provide you a year’s subscription to the electronic version of The Public Manager, a quarterly journal published by The Bureaucrat, Inc., “a not-for-profit organization chartered and devoted to furthering knowledge and best practice at all levels of government.” Your subscription begins with the Winter Edition now available through the following link.

This 2007 benefit is one of the first the newly formed Member Benefits/Sponsorship Committee has offered. The committee is reviewing and planning several new offerings for the upcoming year. I encourage you to contact any of the committee members with suggestions or information for additional benefits:

In January, each society was mailed (to the President of record) a CD with an Excel spreadsheet for use to upload membership information to the AACPM database, a copy of the AACPM Privacy Policy, and 2007 calendar. If you have not received your Society’s information or have questions about the use of the database, please contact me. SOP updates will be posted to the webpage mid-March.
