19th Annual AACPM National Professional Development Conference
Madison Concourse Hotel, Madison, WI: September 9 – 12, 2007

The 2007 Conference Planning Committee of the Wisconsin Society of Certified Public Managers® has been working diligently to prepare a wonderful experience for you this coming September!

 

If you haven’t made plans to join us already, we urge you to do so right away! Because the IronMan Triathlon will be drawing an additional 20,000 people into Madison the weekend our conference starts, it is critical that anyone who has not done so yet, books their lodging quickly. We were able to slightly increase our reserved room block count last fall, but our rooms were 60% booked by December. So if you still need a room, please call now. You can make your reservation on a credit card over the phone and you will NOT be billed until the conference and you can change your payment plan upon arrival.

 

Call 1-800-356-8293, ask for Reservations and then for the AACPM block rooms for Sept.2007; Rates are $129/139 single/double occupancy (Governor's Club rates)

When should I be there and how long should I stay? There are 2 things you should consider: “What are the conference dates?” and “Are there other things I should plan to see & do?” The conference schedule plus planned activities for Saturday and Sunday are shown here.

From there, you will see a link to information on many sites and activities in and around Madison that will help you plan your trip. You may decide (as others already have) to come well before Sept.8th and stay after the conference is over to see and enjoy a bit more of Wisconsin, while you are here.

When can I register for the conference?  Our on-line registration system was available before the end of Jan.2007. Links to access our registration system are available from www.cpmacademy.org and www.wscpm.org. (Many thanks to the outstanding coordination by Bill Herman to prepare and test our registration system!)

How do I get there?  To help ensure you have an easy & safe way to plan your transportation to Madison, we have provided a link about transportation options on our Web site. Visit www.wscpm.org and then click on the link for the 2007 AACPM Conference on the left of our Home Page.
