On December 15, 2006, Idaho’s Certified Public Manager® Program graduated 53 students. The society provided and served refreshments to the new graduates, families, and supervisors. The graduation was held in the state Capitol rotunda that was beautifully decorated for Christmas. Governor-elect Butch Otter gave a very uplifting speech acknowledging their accomplishments and presented each graduate with a plaque. The Idaho Society of Certified Public Managers® (ISCPM) board is meeting for lunch the third Thursday of every month and welcomes any member to join us. We are currently preparing to market our spring seminar to be held April 18-20th in three different locations throughout the state. Our speaker this year is Ronald Willis. Many of you know Ron from national conferences in Kansas and Kentucky. We are looking forward to sharing his wisdom with our peers in state government, and Ron is looking forward to his first visit to Idaho.
