We are off to a running start, for these are exciting times for the Oklahoma Society of Certified Public Managers® (OSCPM). This is a year of great celebrations. Our great state of Oklahoma is 100 years old; this is our centennial. We are starting this 18th year of success with a membership roll of 106 and still counting. We are representing the best that the state has to offer. The 2007 OSCPM officers and board members are at their post and ready to go. This year’s officers are: President Delphine Hill, Past President Joyce Smith, President Elect Barbara Taft, Secretary Kathryn Henson, Treasurer Brenda Sullivan, and board members Judy Dennis, Cynthia Shackelford, Norma Goff, William Winters, Pat Bean, Dawanta Parks, Mary Brewington, Paula Printup-Porter and Paula Green.
We have a lot of things planned for our spring schedule. We are gearing up for our quarterly continuing education L3 (Leadership, Lunch and Learn) series this February featuring subjects such as the pandemics and bioterrorism, with many other great ideas to follow. We are looking forward to participating in OKDHS Partner Conference and the OETA Telethon in March. The Multiple Sclerosis Walk is on our April schedule, and we will be taking part in the Quality Oklahoma Team Day in May.
This year is slated to be one to remember. We are on the move and taking it to the next level, for the best is yet to come. We are the “Emissaries of Public Management” doing a great work. |
