Ohio is proud to be hosting the 20th Annual AACPM Professional Development Conference at the Hyatt Regency in Columbus on September 7-10, 2008. The Buckeye State is excited to bring together a host of stimulating professional development opportunities for all Certified Public Managers® from across the United States. Twenty years is quite a milestone for the AACPM, and Ohio is pulling out all the stops! The annual AACPM conference is a fantastic opportunity to sit shoulder to shoulder with like-minded professionals, share ideas, garner insights, and become reinvigorated about the work we do as public managers. The conference will feature three keynote speakers. All three of these speakers are incredible. We are very excited to bring not only solid messages, but entertainment as well. If there is enough interest, we are planning to offer a bus trip to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio. This trip would include lunch, ticket to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, dinner and bus trip. We are also working with the various political parties to attempt to schedule a presidential debate. As you can imagine, timing is everything. We will continue our planning for this following the primaries.
