2007 Conference – Join us in Wisconsin in Sept. 2007!!

Although we are all looking forward to seeing each other in Louisville, KY this coming September, we are here to tell you that you should plan NOW to join us in Madison, Wisconsin in September 2007! Some of the activities on our Sept. 2007 pre-conference and conference agenda are included in the table below:

Our conference theme, Forward in Public Management, which also reflects Wisconsin’s State Motto, “Forward”, will be incorporated in our training tracks in Fiscal Management, Technology, Innovation, Leadership and Human Resource Management.

We know you will want to come to Madison to see old friends and make new ones, to enjoy a full and entertaining conference, to experience a glimpse of the historical and cultural richness of our State, and to participate in all of our activities including those available the weekend before our conference begins.

We especially encourage you to book your lodging early! Shortly after the IronMan Triathlon in September of 2006, it is expected that over 20,000 people will be booking reservations in Madison hotels for the 2007 IronMan, one year in advance. We have a block of rooms available for our conference in 2007, but we wish to book them as early as possible, so we could expand our room block and maintain available rooms.

The Concourse Hotel is ready to book our lodging reservations now and we invite you to do so immediately. You can make your reservation now on a credit card over the phone. You will NOT be billed until the conference and you can change your payment plan upon your arrival. This will insure you get a room and then you can wait until our on-line conference registration pieces this coming fall to sign up for everything else.
