Treasurer’s Report – July 2006
By Larry Gordon, CPM

Sixteen (16) State Societies have reported 1,191 members as of July 15. This is 68% of the membership goal for this calendar year. With less than 60 days remaining before the start of the Annual Conference in Louisville, KY, it’s imperative those Societies that have not reported their rosters please do so as soon as possible.
The Board approved some cost shifting of the revenues realized from the proceeds from both the 2004 Topeka Conference and the 2005 Manchester Conference. The two conferences combined provided the AACPM with $17,148.92 in unanticipated revenues. The re-allocation of these unanticipated revenues from 2005 is as follows:
- $4045 for thirteen (13) scholarships to the Louisville conference for 1st time attendees
- $5000 to increase the AACPM savings for financial stability
- $5000 for CPM graduation and program participation
- $1000 for keynote speaker for the 2006 conference event
This totals $15,045, leaving a balance of $2,103 from the total proceeds of the two conferences to potentially address additional scholarships if we hear from other societies.
Again, I would like to remind all members to use the Academy link to Amazon.com for their internet purchases. The link button is located near the bottom of the www.cpmacademy.org home page. This is a great opportunity to help raise funds as the Academy receives a 5% referral fee every time a member uses the link and makes a purchase.
