I am hopeful that each of you are enjoying the wonderful summer of 2007, and that you have been able to take long planned and well deserved vacations with your families.

As the summer is passing away very quickly, I am providing you with one last reminder, that if you have not already registered for the 19th Annual AACPM Professional Development Conference, you need to take action – NOW!! As I write this article, the Conference is just weeks away. The Conference will run from September 9-12, 2007 at the Concourse Hotel and Governor’s Club in Madison, Wisconsin. Conference Planning Chair Mark Evans and his Committee have been working to make this Conference the best one ever. The Conference offers an opportunity for us to complete needed educational units we are required to earn as managers, and at the same time, visit a most beautiful part of the country that many of us may not typically get an opportunity to see!

The Concourse Hotel is located in downtown Madison on the isthmus between Lakes Mendota and Monona, just a short block to the State Capitol Building and to the 10-block pedestrian mall known as State Street. State Street starts at the State Capitol and ends at the campus of the University of Wisconsin.
