Society News

Eighteen of the 20 active Member Societies have paid their annual assessment fees and reported 1,424 members as of July 15, 2008. This represents 89% of the membership goal for FY 08. With the annual AACPM  Professional Development Conference in Columbus, Ohio, just days away, it’s imperative that all societies submit their updated rosters immediately so the Academy can post all its members to the national register.

The Academy’s FY 2007 financial records are currently undergoing review by the accounting firm of Holcomb & Shreeve, CPA’s, in Gilbert, AZ. The annual Independent Auditor’s Review is scheduled to be completed at the time of this printing.

The Academy’s FY 2008 HOD approved budget is set at $32,575.00. The YTD revenues vs. expenditures are $23,947.57 and $13,388.34, respectively. Most of the Academy’s annual expenses will be incurred at the upcoming annual conference in Columbus, Ohio.    

With the holiday season just around the corner, I’d like to remind all members (please include your families and friends), to use the Academy’s link to Amazon.com for their internet purchases.
