Wow!
Where do I begin?  AACPM is on the move!  In a nutshell:

• Committees are formed and are poised for service.

• The books on the 2009 AACPM Florida Conference are officially closed.

• The Texas Society is restructuring and moving forward.

• The National Capital Region Society of Certified Public Managers® has been chartered.

• Michigan Society of Certified Public Managers® is on the very short list pending charter.

• Preparations for the 2010 Annual AACPM Conference in Oklahoma City are progressing rapidly.

Many thanks to Howard Balanoff and the Texas Society of Certified Public Managers® for inviting me to the Texas ASPA/CPM conference.  The event was well attended, with interesting and informative presenters.  I was one of the “welcomers” on the scheduled program.

I also attended the CPM planning meeting where state officers were elected. Regional directors were confirmed and more progress was made on restructuring their society into chapters to promote participation from all areas of the state...read more>
