Message from President-Elect

Hello to all, and welcome to 2010! I am very excited to be serving all of you as your President-Elect this year. I have a full year ahead, and am looking forward to working with you to accomplish much. This year I will Chair the Conference and Finance Committees as well as serve as the Board Liaison to the Strategic Planning and Evolution Committees. We are already off to a great start.

I have been in contact with the Committee Chairs for the Strategic Planning and Evolution Committees. Both will continue their efforts from last year and I will work with them in whatever capacity I can to help. We have changed the Strategic Planning Committee from an ad-hoc committee to a standing committee of the Board. SOP updates to reflect that change are in process.

The Finance Committee, in addition to budget items, will develop an investment policy for the Board to consider as a guide to possible future investments. I have also contacted leaders from all four upcoming conferences and am pleased with the information I received about planning and organization efforts. The Oklahoma conference in October looks outstanding, with great speakers and timely topics as well as plenty of enjoyable social and cultural opportunities. Utah (2011) has made great progress. South Carolina (2012) and Idaho (2013) are off and running.

If you have questions or comments related to any of these committees, or about AACPM in general, please let me know. I and the rest of the Board members want to make your AACPM experience all you want it to be.
