Treasurer’s Report - March 2010

Thank you to all the State Societies for remitting your annual assessments on time! First quarter dues and membership rosters are due March 31, 2010. The roster has been modified slightly so if you need a copy of the newest version, don’t hesitate to send me an email. For consistency purposes, it’s important you use this format for your membership rosters.

The Ways and Means Committee (Reva Tisdale, Robinil Jameson, Anetta Cooper, and Larry Gordon) will  discuss purchasing merchandise for the Oklahoma conference in the near future. We welcome any ideas for items you would like to purchase. We also welcome any feedback on pre-orders such as the shirts we offered in Orlando.

Due to the economy, it seems we all have to make those tough decisions in both our professional and personal lives. In April, I will take a voluntary demotion and begin telecommuting. While my husband and I had planned to eventually move to our “retirement” home, his layoff expedited our plans. We are excited and are enthusiastically looking forward to this change.
