Eighteen is the number of the day! The Academy is presently comprised of 18 active chapters. This year, 18 standing or ad hoc committees are working to carry out the mission and progression of the Academy. Some of the committee chairs are determined by Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), others accept the call when they are asked to serve.

There is still work to be done. Some of the committees still need persons who have time to commit to the charges and challenges of the committees. Committee work is a great way to meet other Fellows and learn more about the Academy. No bylaw recommendations were received. Placement for Unaffiliated Membership will be determined. Requesting bylaws from all Societies is being considered, with the main reason to develop a template of bylaws to aid developing societies. |

Publishing two quarterly newsletters. Good liaison with website contractor and graphic designer. This year, 72 changes, additions, or deletions have been made to the Academy website. Maintaining regular communications with society membership. |

The annual AACPM Conference will be October 17-19, 2010, at the Renaissance Hotel and Cox Communications Convention Center in Oklahoma City, with the HOD meeting on October 20. Mentoring |

The Academy issued a charter to the National Capitol Region in January 2010. The committee is working with the Michigan group to finalize requirements so they can receive their charter. |
