This has been quite a year for the Oklahoma Chapter. The Society has been very busy and we have accomplished much.
- Our membership has grown to approximately 120 members including associates and ex-officio.
- Our 18th Annual educational conference held in Norman, Oklahoma on September 7th was premier event. We had a fantastic turn out with registrants exceeding 430+. The conference committee did a marvelous job for the event from the opening ceremony to the closing session. Our presenters were evaluated by the attendees and given rave reviews. This attendance is the highest ever truly taking us to another level for we know we can achieve anything when we maximize our opportunities.
- Our quarterly continuing education L3 (Leadership, Lunch and Learn) series continues to be a success with a new presentation and speaker scheduled for November.
This continues to be a year of great celebrations for our great state, Oklahoma is 100 years old and we are honoring these occasions. For we are forever remembering our theme, we are the “Emissaries of Public Management doing a great work.”
