Dear Ms. Taft and Mr. Buchholz:

I would like to express my deepest gratitude to you for selecting me to receive a 2007 Fran L. Wilkinson Memorial Scholarship. It is a great honor to be recognized by my fellow American Academy of Certified Public Managers® associates with this award and I will do whatever I can to honor its intended purpose, “to promote a high professional, educational and ethical standard in public management”.

With the end of summer, another semester off and running, I’m finding my current Project Management studies to be interesting, motivating and challenging. The skills that I’m acquiring through my program are already helping me both at work and personally.

I sincerely appreciate the encouragement that the Academy and the Scholarship Award Committee has given me as I continue my professional development journey.

With Warm Regards,
Sharon E. Kelley

Ms. Taft,

I just wanted to say thank you and the academy again for choosing me as one of the recipients of the Wilkinson Scholarship. Ms. Earnest has presented me the check today. I’m attaching a photo of the presentation. This money will be put to good use as I continue my studies in the Kentucky CPM Program. Thank you again.
