Florida Prepares to Take the Torch

The 20th Annual Professional Development Conference in Ohio was a wonderful time of learning and meeting with old and new friends. Florida is ready to take the torch!!

In September 2009, Florida will be the host location for the 21st Annual Professional Development Conference, and we want you to be there!! Sessions for Monday and Tuesday will include topics that address the challenges of public management, the reality of budget issues, and sharpening skills for effective communication and quality service.

There has been a lot of interest in joining us in Florida, and we are really excited to show you what we’ve got!! From start to finish, you will find a great combination of learning and fun. Our host hotel is in a great location, too, so be sure to get some rest BEFORE you arrive!

Of course, there are not too many places you can swim with dolphins, dine with sharks, stand next to a rocket, or have your picture taken with a giant mouse! We know you will want to spend some extra time in Florida, or maybe bring the family, so we are ready to help you with ideas and options beyond the conference.
