On September 4, we had 30 graduates from 14 different agencies. One of the graduates was the Tulsa County District Attorney. Our annual education conference was held on September 5 and there were more than 450 confirmed attendees.

Barbara Taft chaired the AACPM Fran Wilkinson Scholarship Committee again this year and presented the winners at the National AACPM Conference. The scholarship is always a great reward for the candidates to enhance their education. Barbara is a past recipient of the local current CPM Phyllis Taylor scholarship and the National AACPM Fran Wilkinson Scholarship.

Joyce Smith, another Oklahoma leader, was elected 2009 AACPM President-Elect at the September National AACPM House of Delegates meeting. Joyce will be the National President in 2010 as Oklahoma hosts the National Conference. We are looking forward to seeing you at the conference. It will be a treat you do not want to miss.

The Oklahoma Society is leading by example. Our goals are to facilitate change, enhance delivery, encourage and celebrate success.

Oklahoma Leaders are truly "The Heart of It All!"
