The Arkansas Society is proud to recognize one of its own, Gary Isom, who in October 2009 was named President of the Association of Real Estate License Law Officials (ARELLO). ARELLO is a prestigious international nonprofit organization whose goal is to promote excellence in real estate regulation around the world. Gary is the second Arkansan since ARELLO’s inception in 1930 to ever serve in this capacity.

Gary earned the Arkansas Governmental Manager (AGM) designation in May 2009 and received the AACPM George Askew Award for Arkansas in Orlando last September. He serves the state as Deputy Executive Director of the Arkansas Real Estate Commission and is currently completing requirements to become a Certified Public Manager® (CPM).

Quoting from a congratulatory letter to Gary from Governor Mike Beebe, “Your selection reflects the high regard of your peers and affirms your leadership abilities and dedication to the industry. It’s a wonderful tribute to be recognized for your hard work and remarkable accomplishments.”  Our members also congratulate Gary on his new leadership position with ARELLO, and we are proud to have him as an active member of the Arkansas Society.

Congratulations, Gary!
